Salary: $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience

Reporting directly to the General Management, the Director of Sales and Marketing plays a key strategic role in the growth and visibility of both hotels. As a true commercial leader, the incumbent develops and implements innovative sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and customer retention objectives.

This position offers overall responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from identifying business opportunities to negotiating and closing sustainable, high-performing partnerships.

Task description:

  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.

  • Manage, retain, and prospect a portfolio of corporate accounts, SMERF clients, associations, corporate groups, and travel-related clients.

  • Provide ongoing training and procedural support to the sales team.

  • Establish, develop, and maintain a strong network of contacts.

  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with operational departments (front desk, banquets, food & beverage, accounting).

  • Develop effective sales strategies to drive hotel growth.

  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to ensure the company’s competitiveness.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and business partners.

  • Contribute to the definition of company objectives and the development of strategic plans.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in communications and sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and write the marketing plan.

  • Participate in budget forecasting in collaboration with the accounting department.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel sales or hotel management.

Languages:

Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position because we serve international clients.
