Under the authority of the Sales Director, and General Manager,  Sales Manager, Tour and Travel Market main function is to assist the Sales Department.

Task description:

  • Promote and sell hotel products and services to the Tours and Travel market
  • Group reservations (amenity groups and convention groups) in the system
  • Draft group contracts, conditions, arrival lists, meals, meeting space, and baggage handling, and ensure follow-up with the departments concerned
  • Make the arrival list for the current week
  • Follow up with customers and resolve issues
  • Ensure that the reservations department has all the rates or contracts related to the different market segments and the various promotional rates
  • Responsible for the inventory of promotional products and stationery needed for the sales department
  • Support the General Manager
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Director

Skills:

  • Knowledge of PMS Opera an asset

Training:

  • (Diploma of Collegial Studies) – Requirement

Bilingualism (French and English) is required in this position because we serve an international clientele.
