Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of Montreal. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible via an underground passage adjacent to the Bell Centre and also through 1000 de la Gauchetière. This iconic Montreal hotel, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, and 25 meeting rooms, was fully renovated in 2021 and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. Job Responsibilities:

• Install plumbing systems (pipes, faucets, sanitary fixtures)
• Read and interpret technical plans and schematics
• Diagnose problems (leaks, blockages, pressure issues, etc.)
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Perform preventive maintenance on installations
• Install and maintain heating systems
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Respond to service calls as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Vocational diploma (DEP) in plumbing or equivalent
• Certification or competency card
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance department of a large building
• Excellent physical condition (working on knees, scaffolding, ceiling access)
• Daytime weekday schedule, with the possibility of evening or weekend coverage
• Strong observational skills
• Professional ethics and customer service orientation
• Will also be expected to contribute to the routine tasks shared by all department staff
